Frances Rose McIver has been an actor from New Zealand since 10 October 1998. Her most well-known role is Olivia Moore in The CW supernatural comedy-drama show iZombie, which ran from 2015 through the year 2019. Further recognition was given to her performance as Amber Moore, in romantic comedies A Christmas Prince (2017, A Christmas Prince The Royal Wedding 2018 and A Christmas Prince The Royal Baby 2019).
McIver's professional career started with appearances as a guest on New Zealand series such as Xena: Warrior Princess and Legend of the Seeker. Summer Landsdown from the Power Rangers RPM superhero series (2009) was a different success. She also had recurring roles as a character in the Showtime time-based drama Masters of Sex (2013-14) and in the ABC supernatural drama Once Upon a Time (2013-17).
McIver began her career on film in 1993 with the historical comedy The Piano. In the years since McIver's film debut, she has been in three films: The Lovely Bones (2009), Predicament (2010) and Blinder (2013). She also starred as a lead actress in the romantic comedy Petals on the Wind, (2014) and the romantic comedy Petals on the Wind, (2015) and in The musical Daffodils, (2017).
