Julie Chen Moonves hosted the famous summer reality series Big Brother which returned to CBS for the 22nd season on the 5th of August. Chen Moonves had been one of The Talk's original hosts. She was moderating and hosting The Talk between 2010 and 2018. She was a writer before becoming host, however her true love of writing was for the written word. When she was finishing her last academic year at the University, she served as an assistant for ABC News in Los Angeles (1990-1991) as well as producer for ABC NewsOne (the network's affiliated news service). She started her career as an assistant at ABC News, working on the late-night show Nightline together with Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is still among Moonves' journalistic idols. Chen Moonves, who won Columbia du-Pont for the primetime Anatomy of a Riot special in 1992, which focused on the Los Angeles riots, worked in conjunction with Koppel.
